Hack APAC - Open Office Hours #2

Greetings hackateers - trust you have had a productive week in defining the new normal as part of your Hack APAC projects!

TL;DR: Join us at the second Open Office Hours, Tuesday 2nd November at 21:30 Singapore time (UTC +8). Link here: https://meet.google.com/ays-hhjn-sfc

********

We had a great Open Office Hours session last week where we covered:

  • The hackathon challenge statements
  • Resources - where to go for help, and data sources to help you build your projects
  • And a walkthrough of setting up the OpenShift Developer Sandbox and how to deploy your first apps!

Recording and slides will be posted shortly. Based on your feedback we have changed the time slot to later in the day so that you can attend live - and win participation prizes too!

What we will cover in Session #2, on Tuesday 2nd November 21:30 SGT time (link):

  • Kubernetes 101 -this is the technology that is powering the next generation of cloud-native apps and is a very high demand skillset.
  • Basics of the OpenShift app platform and how it builds upon K8s
  • Intro to Code Ready Containers, the quickest way to get started building OpenShift clusters - on your own machine!

So block your calendars and if you haven't already signup for your Developer Sandbox account see the instructions below.
